Yep, that's one of the only moments of blue sky we've seen. Apparently our first week in Beijing has been abnormal with rain nearly every day. Usual summer weather is hot and dry and smoggy. With the rain the smog wasn't so bad - there was just lots of haze due to the increased moisture.
Now, I think things are returning to normal - we've had to close off the house from the balcony today to keep the heat out....
